Makes 8 servings, 2 croissants each.
Heat oven to 375°F.
Unroll dough onto cutting board; pat into 12x8-inch rectangle, firmly pressing perforations and seams together to seal. Cut the rectangle crosswise, then lengthwise in half. Cut each rectangle diagonally in half in each direction to make 16 triangles.
Place 1 candy bar on wide end of each dough triangle; roll up, starting at wide end of triangle.
Place croissants, seam sides down, 3 inches apart on baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 min. or just until croissants are golden brown. (Do not overbake since chocolate will burn.) Cool 5 min. Remove from pan to serving plate.
Meanwhile, cut remaining chocolate into small shavings with vegetable peeler or small sharp knife.
Sprinkle croissants lightly with powdered sugar just before serving; top with chocolate shavings.
Spread 1/2 tsp. jam, peanut butter or marshmallow creme onto each dough triangle before topping with chocolate and continuing as directed.
