These candy topped cookies are a delicious treat for the holidays! What could be more fun to eat that a chocolate chip cookie topped with caramel, pecans and chocolate?

Ingredient list

  • 3 oz. semi-sweet baking chocolate, divided
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 12 CHIPS AHOY! Cookies
  • 6 caramels
  • 2 tsp. milk
  • 12 pecan halves

Directions

Microwave 2 oz. chocolate and butter in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 30 to 45 sec. or until chocolate is almost melted; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Spread onto tops of cookies. Let stand 15 min. or until chocolate is firm.

Microwave caramels and milk in small microwaveable bowl 1 min.; stir until smooth. Melt remaining chocolate as directed on package.

Spoon caramel onto centers of cookies; top with nuts. Drizzle with melted chocolate. Let stand 30 min.

    Substitute 1/2 tsp. chopped pecans for the pecan half on top of each cookie.
