Line 13x9-inch pan with foil; spray with cooking spray. Place cookies, top sides down in 6 rows of 4 cookies each, in prepared pan.

Microwave butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 45 sec. or until completely melted when stirred.

Add marshmallows; toss to evenly coat marshmallows with marshmallow mixture. Microwave 1-1/2 min. or until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 45 sec. Add cereal; mix well.

Press cereal mixture onto bottom of prepared pan.

Microwave caramels and water in large glass microwaveable measuring cup 2 to 2-1/2 min. or until caramels are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after each minute. Spread evenly over cereal layer. Cool completely.

Pour caramel sauce over cereal mixture in pan; spread to evenly cover surface of cereal mixture.  Cool completely.

Cover cutting board with parchment.  Unmold cereal mixture, caramel side down, onto parchment. Use sharp knife to cut cereal mixture between cookies into 24 squares.

  • 6 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1 pkg. (11 oz.) caramels
  • 1 Tbsp. water
