Ingredient list

  • 1 pkg. (14 oz.) frozen fully cooked bite-size meatballs
  • 1 jar (24 oz.) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup SWEDISH FISH Soft & Chewy Candies

Bake meatballs as directed on package.

Meanwhile, bring marinara sauce just to boil in large saucepan on medium-low heat. Add candies; simmer 30 min. or until candies are completely melted and sauce is well blended, stirring occasionally.

Add meatballs to sauce; stir until evenly coated.

Recipe Tips

  • Make Ahead

    This flavorful sauce can be prepared ahead of time. Cook sauce as directed, then cool and refrigerate up to 24 hours. When ready to serve, bake meatballs as directed. About 5 min. before meatballs are done, cook sauce in large saucepan until heated through, stirring frequently. Add meatballs; stir until evenly coated.

  • "Bloody" Eyeballs

    Prepare recipe as directed. Meanwhile, cut each of 7 pitted green or black olives crosswise into 4 slices. Place meatballs in single layer on platter; spoon sauce over meatballs. Top each with olive slice to resemble eyeball.

  • Serving Suggestion

    Serve over hot cooked pasta.
