Makes 4 servings, 10 pieces each.
Separate cookies, then scrape off creme. Discard creme or reserve for another use. (See tip.)
Use serrated knife to cut each cookie piece in half. Arrange 2 cookie pieces at an angle on parchment-covered baking sheet to resemble bat wings as shown in photo. Repeat with remaining cookie pieces.
Spoon melted chocolate into piping bag; cut small piece off bottom of bag. Use to add dot of chocolate where every 2 wings meet; top with candy piece for the bat's body.
Add nonpareils for the eyes, securing to candies with remaining melted chocolate.
