Makes 28 servings, 2 Tbsp. dip and 8 graham rectangles each.
Heat oven to 350°F.
Place chocolate bars on bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed lightly with cooking spray, breaking bars as necessary to completely cover bottom of dish with single layer of chocolate pieces.
Dip cut sides of 16 marshmallow halves in red sugar, then dip cut sides of 12 marshmallow halves in blue sugar. Arrange colored marshmallow halves along with the plain (uncoated) marshmallow halves over chocolate to resemble the stars and stripes of a US flag as shown in photo.
Bake 6 to 8 min or until marshmallows are puffed and chocolate is melted. Serve warm with graham rectangles for dipping.
You can use your grill instead of your oven to heat this delicious dip. Heat grill for indirect grilling: Light one side of grill, leaving other side unlit. Close lid; heat grill to 300°F. Assemble dip as directed, substituting a 13x9-inch disposable foil pan for the baking dish. Place foil pan over unlit area of grill; cover grill with lid. (If grill does not have a lid, cover filled foil pan with a sheet of foil.) Grill 3 to 5 min. or until marshmallows are puffed and chocolate is melted. If your grill can't be set up for indirect grilling, then heat the assembled dip on the warming rack of the grill instead of on the grill grate. Or place the filled foil pan in a second disposable foil pan before heating on the grill grate as directed. If using a charcoal grill, move hot coals around edge of grill, then place dip on center of grate to grill over indirect heat until done.
