Mix peanut butter and sugar in freezer container until blended.
Freeze 30 min. or until firm.
Meanwhile, bring cream just to simmer in small saucepan on medium heat. (Do not let cream come to boil.) Add to chocolate in small bowl; let stand 3 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Refrigerate 15 min. or until cooled slightly and thick enough to spoon, stirring frequently.
Place cookies in single layer on baking sheet. Scoop peanut butter mixture into 18 (1-inch) mounds; roll each into ball. Place on cookies; press to flatten peanut butter balls slightly to secure them to cookies.
Spoon chocolate mixture over topped cookies. Refrigerate 15 min. or until firm.
When ready to serve, top with colored sprinkles to match your favorite team's colors.
This fun recipe can easily be doubled to make enough for a party. Just increase the ingredients proportionately.
Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator up to 24 hours. Or, freeze up to 1 month; thaw at room temperature before serving.
