Cut each licorice piece into 8 (1-1/4-inch) lengths. Insert 1 end of EACH of 8 licorice pieces into each cookie ball to resemble a spider's legs.
4
Use melted chocolate to attach 2 cinnamon candies to each cookie ball for the spider's eyes.
5
Refrigerate 1 hour. Keep refrigerated.
Recipe Tips
SubstituteSubstitute mini candy eyeballs for the cinnamon candies.
NoteYou will need a total of 288 (1-1/4-inch) pieces of black string licorice legs for the 36 spiders. Since string licorice is typically available in 30- to 32-inch lengths, you would need 12 (30-inch) pieces of licorice to prepare this recipe.
