Recipe Tips
Graham Pencil Cookies Omit chocolate-hazelnut spread, pretzel sticks, marshmallows, gumdrops and sprinkles. To instead decorate the grahams to resemble pencils, break each whole graham into 4 small rectangles. Use serrated knife to cut one end of each rectangle to form a point for the pencil tip. Cut red and yellow chewy fruit snack sheets or rolls to fit rectangles for both the colored part of each pencil and eraser at top. Place on graham rectangles, pressing gently onto grahams to secure. Spread white decorating icing onto pointed end of graham rectangle. Attach a mini semi-sweet chocolate chip to each for the pencil's tip. Makes 8 servings, 3 pencil cookies each.
VariationSubstitute small white oval candies for the marshmallows and/or flat round red candies for the cut-up gumdrops.
