Makes 1-3/4 cups spread or 14 servings, 2 Tbsp. spread and 6 crackers each.
Mix cheeses until blended; shape into oval shape to resemble football. Sprinkle with seasoning.
Refrigerate 2 hours.
Cut green onion tops into 1 (4-inch) length and 4 (2-inch) lengths. Use to add laces to football as shown in photo.
Serve with crackers.
Instead of discarding the white parts of the green onions, chop them up and mix them with the cheese mixture before shaping into football shape as directed.
If wanting to prepare the cheese spread more than 2 hours in advance, shape the cheese mixture into the football shape as directed but do not coat it with the seasoning. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate up to 3 days. When ready to serve, unwrap the cheese spread, coat it with the seasoning and garnish with green onion pieces as directed.
