Cut thin slice off top of each bag of wafers. Reserve 2 wafers from each bag for later use.
Squeeze each bag lightly to crush remaining wafers in bags; place bags, cut sides up, in shallow dish.
Spoon pudding evenly over crushed wafers in bags just before serving; top with bananas, whipped topping and reserved whole wafers.
When serving a large group, set up an easy, make-your-own dessert bar. Place the sliced bananas in a medium bowl. To keep them from turning brown, mix 1/2 cup lemon juice with 1/2 cup water, then pour this over the bananas. Stir gently to evenly coat the bananas with the lemon juice mixture. Drain the bananas, then spoon them into a serving bowl. Add baskets filled with packages of the Mini NILLA Wafers and pudding snacks. Include a bowl of the whipped topping. Or, instead add a can of aerosol whipped dairy cream topping. Use a guideline of 1 pkg. (1 oz.) wafers, 1 container (3.875 oz.) pudding snack, 1/2 banana and 1-1/2 Tbsp. whipped topping per person.
Omit bananas. Prepare recipe as directed, substituting 1-oz. bags of Mini OREO Cookies for the Mini NILLA Wafers and reserving just 1 cookie from each bag for the garnish before crushing the remaining cookies. Top ingredients in each filled bag with a gummy worm before serving
Prepare recipe using aerosol whipped cream and/or your favorite flavor of pudding snacks.
Top ingredients in each bag with 1/4 tsp. of your favorite multi-colored sprinkles.
