RITZ Butterfly Toppers
Make after school snack time more fun with these easy topped RITZ Crackers. Cheese cutouts, tomatoes and green pepper create beautiful butterfly snacks!
Ingredient list
- 12 cracker-sized sliced sharp cheddar cheese
- 12 RITZ Crackers
- 2 small plum tomatoes, each cut into 6 slices
- 12 thin green pepper strips (1-1/2 inches long)
Directions
Cut cheese slices into 12 rounds using 1-1/2-inch cookie cutter, then cut each cheese round in half. Reserve scraps for snacking or another use.
Top each cracker with 1 tomato slice, 2 cheese pieces and 1 pepper strip to resemble a butterfly as shown in photo.
Recipe Tips
- SubstituteSubstitute 4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese with Jalapeño Peppers, cut into 12 thin slices, for the cheddar cheese.
